Heads-up: Bemanification Event Saturday April 25 at University Politehnica of Bucharest

Hello,

As discussed in the previous Beman Sync Meeting, I will organize a mini-hackathon with students this Saturday (10AM - 4PM Bucharest time) - at The Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer, University Politehnica of Bucharest. Main focus will be around beman-tidy (upgrades for the tools - if we have time), but more important applying the Beman Standard on existing libraries.

TLDR: We’ll enable beman-tidy with default checks (aka only requirements) and do necessary updates inside the libraries (me and @RaduNichita , and possible @ednolan, will do the reviews).

Here is what to expect - hopefully, to have Req failed full of 0-s and beman-tidy enabled on CI. We’ll concentrate our efforts around things that are feasible for that time frame (some of them may need input for codeowners, so won’t be finished during the weekend).

Note: I created an issue template - https://github.com/bemanproject/beman-tidy/issues/247), then multiplied for each library from our website (check beman-tidy · GitHub ).

I would like a blessing from @project-leads - possible move fast and break things .

Yes, you’ve got my blessing to move fast and break things here. Looking forward to seeing the updates to bring these projects more in line with the standard.

I’ve been looking at a few of the PRs today and indeed it is fast a furious  There might be a couple rough edges to resolve – we’ll see.

@neatudarius please see the note here – the scope change broke a link in the readme.
