This makes it easy to create a new repository based on beman.example without inheriting its history.

Anyone using it, please file issues for anything that isn’t quite right so we can continue to improve it.
Eventually it would be nice to have something like a cookiecutter.io template, but it’s best to have a solid exemplar to create the template from.
